Jessica Page -- Jessie Page was born March 1,
1982 in New Jersey. Her first exposure to stage
performing was when she was a tap dancer at the
age of two, performing in The Wiz. This quickly
gave way to singing, where she eventually found
her love in opera. She began truly studying
opera at the age of 14 upon relocating to Santa
Rosa, California.
In California, she took part in an exclusive
academic program, ArtQuest, which functioned in
tandem with Santa Rosa Junior College. This
program allowed her to choose two majors upon
demonstrating proficiency: Music and Theater.
She graduated in 2000, having performed
upwards to five shows per academic year. Upon
graduation, she took part in the Wine Country
Opera Company, as well as several community
theaters. Eventually, this lead to sustaining the
same performance schedule while juggling
college and, of course, work.
In 2001, Jessie relocated to Chattanooga,
Tennessee. She has been honored to have the
privilege to work with several local theaters and is
excited to be working with such a skilled cast and
crew crafting Black Elk Speaks.
