Melissa Parker -- This is Melissa Parker’s
second show with Hamilton Community Theatre.
She began acting and choreographing in high
school, in Woodstock, Georgia.  She is an
accomplished dancer and actor with 18 years
experience.  She has choreographed many
productions including Grease, A Evening with
Shel Silverstein, and various high school
marching bands and winterguard shows in the
southeast.  She was a member of the Readcoat
Marching Band flagline from 1999 - 2003.  Her
acting credits include Juror #6 in Twelve Angry
Jurors, Grease, and Jonsey in a compilation of
O'Henry vignettes with the Cherokee Little
Theater Players in Canton, Georgia.  As a
teacher, she has also been able to direct shows,
but loves being on stage herself.

She is currently the center director of
Ombudsman in LaFayette, GA.  There, she works
with students who need an alternative route of
education for various reasons to help them
continue their education; specifically focusing on
drop out prevention.  She is a wife and mother of
two wonderful children and is very grateful to
have a supportive family which allows her to
follow her acting bug.

She has had a wonderful time with the cast of
Black Elk and cannot express what a learning
experience this production has been
educationally, spiritually, and personally.  Thank
you Black Elk and HCT for bringing him to
Chattanooga.
