Denise Camille Frye made her acting
debut in 1999 with an award winning
performance of The Cemetery Club at
the Backstage Dinner Theatre (now
Encore).   Since that time, she has
appeared in various theatres and
churches in the Chattanooga area
(“wherever they’ll let me,” she says),
including Chattanooga Theatre Center,
The Colonnade, and The Vaudeville Café.

Favorite performances include Steel
Magnolias, Fried Green Tomatoes,
Sordid Lives, and Come Back, Little
Sheba (also directed by Randy
Forrester).  Films include Last Weekend,

produced and directed by Don Benjamin
of New Planet Pictures.  One of four
spokespersons (a/k/a the “aging eye
ladies”) for Chattanooga Eye Institute,
Denise has recently completed
production of an educational video,
while her third television commercial is
currently running.

Denise describes her experience at
Audubon Acres as unique and inspiring,
and wishes to thank the entire crew for
allowing her to take part in this important
and compelling drama. When not
performing (or working), Denise enjoys
gardening, reading, crafting, and writing.
She has recently completed her first
novel and is currently seeking a
publisher.  Denise has two gorgeous
daughters and resides with her husband
and grandson in East Ridge, Tennessee.
