Damon is appearing in his first play with
Hamilton Community Theatre; but he has
volunteered in theatre for four years.
He has provided technical assistance at
the soundboard and constructed sets
for several shows such as A Winnie the
Pooh Christmas Tail and A Midsummer
Night’s Dream at the Youth Theatre of
Chattanooga Theatre Centre. Some of
his stage roles there have included
Randy in A Christmas Story, the King in
Sleeping Beauty, and Mr. Beaver in The
Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
In addition to pursuing an interest in
theatre, Damon is active in the Boy
Scouts of America, where he has
achieved First Class rank. He has also
served his troop as Assistant Patrol
Leader and as Patrol Leader. Always
seeking adventure, Damon says some of
his favorite camping trips with his troop
are caving and whitewater rafting.
As a freshman in high school, Damon’s
favorite subjects are geometry, biology,
and history. And he enjoys reading,
preferring books of mythology, fantasy,
and science fiction. When he is not
studying for school, Damon pursues his
hobby of filming and editing stop-action
movies.
