Leela Perry is a 7th grader at CSLA
She is a member, and officer, in TSA
(technology student association)
and sings in the CSLA choir. She
enjoys dancing and has been with
Massari-Wood Dance Center for
eight years. Leela dances both
ballet and tap. She has performed
various roles in The Nutcracker for
the past six Christmas seasons. She
is now traning toward pointe, and
hopes to join The Chattanooga Civic
Ballet.
Leela lives in the East Brainerd
community, with her mother and her
grandmother. They own two
adorable cats, Oliver and Abigail.
She is very interested in the work of
detectives and hopes to persue this
as a career. Leela has Cherokee
ancestry on both sides of her familly
(mother's side went on the Trail of
Tears, father's side fled to
mountians of North Carolina.) Her
interest in Native Americans has
lead her to participate in this play.
