"Soundation" is the drumming group from the Catoosa County Public Schools'
Performance Learning Center. The PLC is an initiative of the Catoosa County
Communities in Schools program. The PLC helps students who are not on
track to recapture credit and graduate on time using an online curriculum in a
business-like setting.
Communities in Schools and the Soundation group is led by Jayme Elliott, a
certified Remo HeathRHYTHMS facilitator. HeathRHYTHMS is an internationally
acclaimed research-based recreational music-making program. Soundation
performs free of charge for businesses, schools, and churches in the Catoosa
County, Georgia area.
This recreational music-making is proven to reduce stress and job burnout
while promoting teamwork and wellness.
The Hamilton Community Theatre is pleased to have Soundation performing at
Black Elk Speaks.
