Hamilton Community Theatre helps build community by producing high
quality, 'family-friendly" live performance stage shows.
The productions are under the guidance of the theatre's board of directors:
Rosemary Wallace, M.L.A., serves as the artistic producer. She is an
experienced actor & director, and a specialist in the area of literature for
children and young adults.
HCT is a community theatre. Together, we strive to produce events which
are suitable for families in our area. And we work to keep admission prices
low so families can attend together. Theatre builds our neighborhoods and
communities by bringing people together to produce enjoyable quality
shows for our friends and neighbors.
All HCT auditions are open to the public. Both experienced actors and new
talent are encouraged to audition for parts. Those new to theatre have the
opportunity to learn from more experienced actors in a friendly and
cooperative atmosphere. Theatrical training and workshops are now being
developed and will provide acting opportunities for our children, youth, and
adults.
Those who prefer working behind the scenes are encouraged to join the
company as members of the stage crew, costumers, set builders, ushers,
sales & marketing agents, office assistants, technical staff, musicians, etc.
At Hamilton Community Theatre, it's all about the relationships. By working
together as neighbors, our community can produce great shows and be
truly proud of our accomplishments.
Hamilton Community Theatre is listed with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit
organization and is a member of the American Association of Community
Theatre.
